Difference Between Analog and Digital?

The innovations and moves made by automakers on smaller turbocharged engines to improve fuel economy have yet tomeet satisfaction of Consumer Reports' expectations. It was made to improve fuel economy on cars like Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Cruze. The result of the study reveals that these engines still need to meet test standards. This idea of taking engines to a more effective way of saving fuel will help consumers and the economy as well. This will be a good step, if successful, in preserving energy consumption for the coming years.
According to Tom Mutchler, automotive engineer at Consumer Reports, they have put cars through the standard fuel economy test with both city driving and highway tests. Ford Fusion, which is among the affordable midsize cars, with the turbocharge 1.6 liter EcoBoost engine was able to get 25 mpg in the Consumer Report test. Nissan Altima and Honda Accord, cars with larger and conventional four-cylinder engines was able to deliver 31 and 30 mpg. Mutchler also stated that the Accord and Altima are quicker and have smoother power delivery than the Fusion alone. The two have matched fuel economy ratings from the EPA Consumer Reports' tests and failed by 29 mpg estimate.
The trend is also true with other compact SUVs in the industry. With all the other used cars Texas which have small turbocharged engines, it has shown that the naturally aspirated Honda CR-V was able to accelerate more quickly and was able to deliver better fuel economy than the Ford Escape with only 1.6 liter engine. The CR-V was able to average 23 mpg in Consumer Report tests. Ford Escape was also able to deliver 22 mpg in the said test. It is noted that the turbocharged Chevy Cruze Eco came with lower EPA rating with 31 mpg.
Though most of these moves made by automakers can be seen as a good step in the efficient energy consumption, there success still hangs with a considerable amount of pull. They have been able to synthesize an idea which can effectively help the industry to save fuel and energy consumption yet they still have to settle it on solid grounds. When taken with the right approach with combined success, used autos for sale in the future will also be benefited as well as the consumers as a whole. This will create a great saving action to the method on how we use energy for our everyday needs.
